I'm not calling this one over quite yet, but I'm very happy with my progress so far. I set my goal at the Lowry level, so trying for at least 60 points. Currently, I've read 37 books totaling 47 points (so many Caldecotts!) 13 more points might be a bit of a stretch at this time of year, but we shall see!

Some of the Newbery winners are really short (like Missing May by Cynthia Rylant) - you could fit in a few in December! :) 47 points is still impressive, even if you don't make your level. I'm so glad you're on board for next year!

Gosh - I really lost traction on this. I started out with "A Long Way from Chicago" which I enjoyed more than I thought I would. Then I read the "One-Eyed Cat" which I also really liked. and there it was left. I('m going to read Because of Winn-Dixie" tonight, just to make up for lost time. But I thought I would have read a lot more. On to 2017!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
