My Bookish Goals
- Read at least two hours every day (preferably more!)
- Read four books
- Comment on at least 5 blogs every day
- Participate in at least 3 challenges
This is the second time I'm participating in a Bout of Books read-a-thon, and I'm really excited! I'll be reading in and amongst all of the many, many, many things I still need to do before school starts in September. My classroom is not the least bit ready. But I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze some reading time in despite my long to-do list! My Bookish Goals
Books to Read Well, yesterday was my last Library Day of the summer, and I may have gone a bit overboard. . . I'll have plenty to keep me reading next week! I'll probably start at the top and work my way down, so The Kappa Child by Hiromi Goto will be up first. We'll see what I'm in the mood for next!

I like this read-a-thon because it's low-pressure. I set my own goals, and I don't feel too terribly upset if I don't achieve them. It's just fun to be reading with a bunch of other people!

A bit? :D Ha, just kidding. It looks very familiar. I bought a copy of Wonder a couple of weeks ago so I'll be looking forward to hearing your thoughts on that one.

I'm a teacher as well and my classroom is sooooo not ready, but I go back on Thursday so I'm pushing that out of my mind to enjoy my last two days of summer before the daily grind begins.

We had our before-school teacher meeting yesterday, so the classroom work has begun. Now I just need to find time to read! :)

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
