This weekly meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. 'Twas the week to get sick in my household - I came down with a cold last Monday, and it's still here. Despite this, though, life goes on. And more importantly, reading goes on! My Recent PostsFull House Reading Challenge Sign-Up (I'm so excited for this challenge!) Before Green Gables by Budge Wilson - Review (For fans of L.M. I enjoyed Jules Verne but I haven't read this one. The cover of The Wishing Thread looks very interesting too!

I happened to find that Jules Verne on the library shelf. It was a lost manuscript that was never published. It's an unusual take on a "future" Paris. I have to admit that I enjoyed his Around the World in Eighty Days more.

Very true, Jade! Being sick is a good excuse to spend a little more time reading.

I actually read The Book Thief several years ago. I remember that I loved it, but I don't remember much more about it. I'm really looking forward to reading it again!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
