What I Read Last Week

Umm, nothing. Well, that's not entirely true. I read some, I just didn't finish any books. I read fourteen books in January, and I'm only at three right now in February. It's amazing how much less reading time I have when I actually have to go to school and teach every day, instead of enjoying yet another snow day. :)

What I'm Reading Now

A Guide for the Perplexed by Dara Horn (I got to about page 200, and I had to put this one on hold so I could get to my book club book in time.)
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak (This is the book club book I have to finish by our meeting on Friday. I'm only halfway through. At my current slow reading rate, I may be in trouble. . .)

What's Coming Up Next

If I'm ever able to finish the two books above, I'll tackle my pile of library books. Strings Attached by Joanne Lipman & Melanie Kupchynsky is next on the pile!

We ended up with a snow day today (probably the same storm that hit you yesterday). I've already finished both books! This is why I look forward to summer. :)

I try to not focus on book count too much - I tend to read just one book a week. I hope you're enjoying your reads and can carve out some more possible reading time.

I usually get through a book a week, too. Apparently I'm not so okay with it when it doesn't happen. :) On the plus side, I am enjoying both of those reads very much!

I go in spurts like that. Right now I am kind of like you. Didn't get much done. Stuck on Don Quixote...{{sigh}} Almost done with Jane Eyre though and I have enjoyed it a great deal. Not really been in the mood to blog either. Not sure why. Just don't feel like it right now.
