I'm sure this week will be busy, but I was able to have a relaxing weekend to gear up for it. There was a lot of this going on Saturday and Sunday afternoons:

Two cats, one book, and a mug of hot chocolate. Perfect!

Love your cozy scenario with cats, books, and hot chocolate.

I must read Unbroken, but I may see the movie first...Yikes!

It was very cozy. You should definitely read Unbroken (before or after the movie - I'm sure there are details in the book that won't make it into the movie.) It's an absolutely incredible story. Even more so, because it's true!

It would have been more relaxing if my cats had left me room to sit on the chair. :) It was a blessing to be able to sit and just read for an afternoon!

I loved Unbroken but I'm not sure I want to see the movie. I loved his website and was so sad when he finally passed a couple of months ago.
Enjoy your books!

I agree - the book was fascinating, but those aren't necessarily pictures I want to put in my mind in movie form. What an incredible life he lived!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
