It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

This weekly chance to add to your reading list is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.

Now that it's January and we're back in school, it's the season of snow days! Unexpected days of sleeping in, getting stuff done around the house, and lots of reading. We had three days this past week where it was cold and/or snowy enough to get a snow day - except the superintendent of the school district apparently didn't think so. Sigh. So close. Ah, well. It will be winter in Michigan pretty much until April. Plenty of time for snow days still! :)

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis (I will never, ever get tired of rereading this one.)
Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston (Loved the writing in this one! Review will be posted Wednesday, including some of my favorite quotes.)

The weather was the same around here - also with the same results for snow days! It seemed like school should have been called a few times, but there was only one snow day.

So much for the rumor that this winter was going to be worse than last winter. Certainly hasn't lived up to that so far! :)

I've been wanting to read "Their Eyes Were Watching God" for a while and it is just sitting on my Kindle....I probably should push that one up on my TBR

Is that the edition of The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe that you have? It's the one I grew up with!!

Those covers are the ones I grew up with. When I moved out of the house, I had to buy my own copies, and those covers are different. But I still love these covers that bring back so many memories!
