This weekly chance to add to your reading list is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
January is moving right along, isn't it? Can you believe we're nearly two-thirds of the way through? I don't know what the weather is like where you live, but I'm a bit disappointed in ours. What happened to this dire winter they were predicting? Most of our snow melted on Saturday! I'm not a fan of cold, but I am of snow - so if it's going to be cold outside, it had better be snowing! :)

A Passion Redeemed by Julie Lessman (I read the first book of this series over the summer, and I absolutely loved it. I couldn't resist picking up the next one at the library, even though I should be reading books off my own shelves now!)

I agree, I am pretty sad about this weather. I am with you, if I am going to be cold, at least give me some snow! Most of ours melted as well, leaving the landscape kind of ugly. We did get a nice little dusting last night though, that prettied it back up. Lol. Have a great week!

We had a bit of a dusting as well. And it froze all of the slush into lovely, grotesque shapes. Hopefully there's more snow coming soon! :)

All of these L.M. Montgomery books I've never heard of!

I didn't like Pat quite as well as Anne or Emily, but it would be pretty hard to beat those two. Still definitely worth a read. L.M. Montgomery is always wonderful!

I love L.M. Montgomery. My kids and I are listening to Anne of Green Gables on audio right now--I've read it several times, but this is my kids' first encounter with it and they seem to be enjoying it!

Anne of Green Gables would be fun on audio. Hooray for bringing Anne to the next generation! :)

I really need to read Julie Lessman because I have heard so many great things about her, but still haven't actually read anything by her yet! Hope you have a great reading week! :)

I kept hearing great things about her, too, which is why I finally picked up one of her books this summer. I highly recommend her! Her books are so hard to put down!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
