It's Monday! What Are You Reading?

Well, reality hit this week. This was our first week of school, and suddenly my evenings were filled, not with reading or blogging, but with paper grading and lesson planning. My reading pace will now slow down drastically for the next nine months. But I did have a great week with my new fourth graders, and I'm always excited about spreading my love of reading to them!

Oh yes...I hear ya. I taught for 34 years and retired last year. :)

It will all work out...you will find a balance.

ENJOY your week...looks like a good one.

I am out of town and not getting too much reading done, but I am having fun. Went to a Hachette book event and received 9 books. The event was FABULOUS.

How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe sounds interesting, and I like the cover, but I read your review and I'm not sure it would be my thing. Sounds like maybe it's not as humorous as the title would suggest? Thanks for the review.

There was the potential for humorous moments, but it really wasn't a humorous book overall. It seemed like the author was trying to be more profound than humorous. In my opinion, he should have tried the other way. Glad my review was helpful!
