It's summer!! Friday was our last day of school. Time for sleeping in, the chance to get things done that I normally wouldn't have time for, and lots and lots of reading! Bring on the books! My college roommate had the same reaction - "how have you never read this book??" It's been an interesting reading experience so far. It's both what I expected and not what I expected, all at the same time. Not quite sure how, but it is. :)

I just finished Uncle Tom's Cabin and I loved it! I think everyone should read this novel! I cried and laughed and got very very angry. I learned a lot about slavery and Tom is one of the most loving characters in any book I've ever read I really hope that you like it :)

I agree - Uncle Tom's Cabin was a great book. I'm surprised it isn't taught in more schools so that more people would read it!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
