What I'm Reading Now
The Iliad by Homer (This is an awfully violent book. Did you know that? I certainly didn't.)
This weekly chance to add to your reading list is hosted by Kathryn at Book Date. Snow day today!! Of course, since I'm not teaching this year, that doesn't mean quite as much as usual. But it does mean everything outdoors is beautifully covered in white, and there's still some snow coming down. Maybe I'll get a little time today during naptime to read and drink some hot chocolate. . . My Recent PostsWhat I Read Last WeekWalking the Bible: A Journey by Land Through the Five Books of Moses by Bruce Feiler (My list of random facts from this one went up on Friday. It's a fascinating read!) I've been so looking forward to taking him out in our first big snow, but he's sick right now. Ah, well. Living in Michigan means we'll have no shortage of other chances to play in the snow this winter! :)

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
