Literary Bucket List

This post was inspired by Jessica's post at Quirky Bookworm. I loved her list (so much that I'm borrowing a couple), and was excited to make my own!
1. Attend the Fforde Ffiesta. Jasper Fforde is one of my favorite authors, and a weekend of Fforde-inspired silliness would be great!
2. Visit Jane Austen's house in Chawton. I've actually been to her house in Bath, but I'd love to go to the house where she did most of her writing.
3. Harry Potter Reading Marathon. I stayed up all night to read the seventh book when it came out. I would be fun to start at the beginning and read them all straight through.
4. Travel in Tuscany, inspired by Frances Mayes' books.
5. Read War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. I've tried twice. Third time is the charm?
6. Visit Prince Edward Island, home of Anne of Green Gables. I've read this series so many times, and I would love to visit her world.
7. Work in a used bookstore. Just something I'd love to do someday.
8. Travel to Narnia. Okay, okay. I know it's not real. But I still want to go.
9. Read all of the Newbery Medal winners.
10. See a Shakespeare play in Stratford-upon-Avon. I've been to Stratford (for a few hours), but didn't get a chance to see the Royal Shakespeare Company in action.
There's always more, but that's the start of my list! What's on your literary bucket list? You can post in the comments here or link-up your post on Quirky Bookworm.

Great list! I'm with you in (almost) all of them. No desire to read War and Peace. :-)

Just read your bucket list from last year and I have good news for you: you CAN go to Narnia (or at least part of it.) It's located at the Cotsen library on Princeton University's Campus and is free & open to the public. Just look for the lampost!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
