We finally had a good snowstorm a couple weekends ago - which actually resulted in our first snow day of the school year. I took advantage of the unexpected time off to go for a walk in the freshly fallen snow. God did a great job of decorating the world with snow and ice! Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy.

Beautiful photos! I love the close-ups, especially those bright red berries. We have had a mild winter in the Pacific Northwest (so far) with only a dusting of snow last November.

I was hoping there would be some red berries on my walk, and I was really glad when I found some! Hopefully you get some more snow before winter is over. It's so pretty!

It was nice to finally have some snow on the ground! It's just not winter without it! :)

I felt a little guilty about spoiling the fresh snow by walking through it, but somebody had to take pictures of all the prettiness! ;)

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
