Big Stone Gap by Adriana Trigiani (I'm officially a fan of hers now!)
My Lucky Life In and Out of Show Business by Dick Van Dyke (finally finished the audiobook)
The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
Two-Part Inventions by Lynne Sharon Schwartz

What I'm Currently Reading

Picture
Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain (yup! It's as good as everyone says!)

What's Coming Up Next

Picture
Tuck by Stephen Lawhead (The third book of his King Raven series, which is based on Robin Hood. It's a fascinating version of the legend.)

You're the second person I've seen reading Quiet today. I've picked it up multiple times, but haven't actually committed.

You should try it again! It's a really good read so far. Very affirming if you feel at all introvert-ish.

Aw The Wind in the Willows! I feel inspired to read that myself now. Have a great week!

The Wind in the Willows is such a great read. It's quick, too! It was great to revisit Mole and Rat and Mr. Toad.

I somehow still haven't read The Casual Vacancy, can't see it happening soon either as I'm on a book buying ban.

Really want to read Quiet too.

I keep telling myself I'm on a book buying ban, but it never sticks! How's it working out for you? :)

I love, love, love Adriana Trigiani...such a great writer. I've read almost all her books and enjoyed the Big Stone Gap series. Have you read The Shoemaker's Wife yet? It's amazing and my favorite of hers.

My husband has read the King Raven series a few times - he loves those books.

Here's my It's Monday post.

Have a great week!

Big Stone Gap was the first I've read of Adriana Trigiani's books. Thanks for the recommendation of The Shoemaker's Wife. I'll check that one out next!

I'd really love to read The Wind in the Willows :) I think I did, way back when I was a wee lass.

Have a great week of reading!

You should definitely reread it. I read it when I was a kid, too, and there was so much I didn't remember - like the little mouse carolers! It's such a cute book!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
