This weekly meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
Last week, I complained about not having any time to read because we hadn't had any snow days. Well, this week, I got my wish - both Tuesday and Friday were no-school days! Therefore, I finished three books this week, and am halfway through a fourth.

Also in exciting news, my brand-new book club met for the very first time Friday night. We discussed The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, ate yummy food, and drank delicious wine. Our book for March is going to be The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I had so much fun. I can't wait to do this again!

I think I will jump back on this meme next week. I have moved past some of the books I was stuck on. Something new, other than Don Quixote!
Fangirl has been on many bloggers reading lists...hmmm. Serving Victoria looks rather interesting. Hope you have plenty of time to get more reading done! :)

I'm totally hooked on the characters in Fangirl. However, as a Christian, there are some things about it I wish I had known going in. I may not have chosen to read it then. . . Now, it's too late - I can't put it down!

You made it through Don Quixote? Congratulations! That wasn't so bad, was it? :)

I'm glad you enjoyed your book club! Everyone talks highly of The Book Thief and yet there is still something putting me off from picking it - I can't quite put my finger on what exactly that is though.
Happy Reading!
:-)

Jade - I'm putting up my post about The Book Thief on Thursday. I hope you check it out, and more importantly, I hope you read this book sometime! (Seriously, it's amazing!)

I've seen a lot of people who are enjoying Fangirl. I don't have a copy yet, but I do have Attachments sitting on my shelf. :)

Yeah, I've heard a lot about Fangirl and Eleanor & Park. Not so much about Attachments. I can tell you from reading Fangirl than Rainbow Rowell certainly know how to write good characters!

I didn't have a chance to check out the movie when it was in theaters. I plan on watching it as soon as it comes out on DVD, though!

I liked Fangirl, thought it lived up to the hype quite well. Serving Victoria certainly looks interesting...

You're right - I heard a lot of raving about Fangirl, and it hasn't disappointed me yet. I was just in London this past summer, so I'm really excited to read Serving Victoria.

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
