We've been back from our vacation for a week now, and life is just about back to normal. Which is good, because August will soon be here. It's almost back to school time!

Well, I went to the library last Thursday. Let's just say that I have a lot of choices for books to read this week. . . And we'll pray that the cats don't knock over my teetering pile of books!

I have Someday, Someday Maybe on my kindle, not read yet. I love the actress as my only motive for buying it :) I envy your stack of books--enjoy the week reading them!

I love Gilmore Girls. I've watched every episode way too many times to mention. And Someday, Someday, Maybe reads just like you would expect a Lauren Graham book to read. It's very enjoyable!

Both Ruby Red and Shadow & Bone are awesome books, so I hope you get to them this week! Tuck looks good too, I used to read a lot of Lawhead's books and enjoyed them. Have a great reading week!

Look at that awesome stack! Yahoo :) Eighty Days was great by the way, I hope you enjoy it. I have a feeling that I would adore Ex Libris :)

I actually finished Ex Libris this morning, shortly after I posted this. It's only around 150 pages, so it's a quick read - and a good one!

You library pile looks like mine! Did I mention I have to go pick up two more books today? Sigh...
Have a wonderful week and enjoy those books!

That's funny - I actually picked up two more books from the library myself this afternoon. So now the stack is even taller! I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this!

Ex Libris is on my TBR mountain and has been for quite a while. I liked the concept but haven't fit it into my reading calendar yet. Come see my Monday wrap-up. Have a great reading week.

Any book lover would enjoy Ex Libris. And it's short enough to fit in the cracks of a reading calendar. ;)

I wish I received all those books to keep! Alas, until I win the lottery, the library will be my best friend. And used book sales.

That's some haul of books! I liked The Little Women Letters. It would make a nice relaxed summer read. I think I had even more fun reviewing it than reading it: http://www.joyweesemoll.com/2011/06/07/book-review-the-little-women-letters-by-gabrielle-donnelly/

Thanks for pointing me to your review. I'm even more eager to read it now! I also inherited my copy of Little Women from my grandmother through my mother. It must just be one of those beloved books that gets passed down through the generations.

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
