What I Read Last Week
Jerusalem Vigil by Bodie & Brock Thoene (An impressive book, but way too much violence for me)
This weekly meme is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. Fall is beginning! Cooler temperatures have arrived. I had my first hot chocolate of the season on Saturday. School is settling into a routine. A few leaves have just started to turn. As much as I love reading out in the heat on my front porch during the summer, I also enjoy curling up in my library with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book. Hooray for fall! The Case of the Missing Books sounds interesting! Mystery and about books, I assume... Right up my alley! I hope we'll be hearing your full thoughts on that one.

We just moved from Vermont last year, Here is my Monday so we are going to be missing the turning of leaves this year. :-(

I've heard Vermont is beautiful in the fall. It's a shame you'll miss it this year!

Oooh, Waverly sounds lovely. I haven't read a Theone book in a while, might have to revisit!

After plowing through a lot of contemporary fiction this summer, I'm looking forward to the slower pace of a classic. This was my first Thoene book, and I enjoyed it!

I love the cover, too. That's what drew my attention to it in the first place. The cover artist had a success!

The Case of the Missing Books was fun. Not quite as light-hearted of a read as I expected, but it was still fun to read. I hope you enjoy it!
