This weekly chance to add to your reading list is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
Back to real life and routine again. I had a wonderful Christmas break, including a trip to Florida and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!! (I promise to post pictures soon.) 2015 is off to a great start so far, mostly because there is finally snow on the ground! So many things to look forward to and enjoy in this coming year. I hope your new year has been wonderful so far, as well!

The Secret Life of the Seine by Mort Rosenblum (For all those who have wondered what it's like to live on a houseboat in the middle of a European city.)
Anne of the Island by L.M. Montgomery (Is there a better way to start a new year than with one of your favorite authors?)

What I'm Reading Now

Picture
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis (I've been wanting to reread this one for awhile now, but I had to wait until there was snow on the ground!)

I love C.S. Lewis, too. I've lost track of how many times I've read the Chronicles of Narnia! :)

I just started re-reading Anne of Green Gables. I love all of the books in the series so much. :)
I've been wanting to re-reading LWW but with everything else I'm reading and re-reading this year it's not making the cut. :( Next year hopefully!

I reread Anne of the Island for Reading to Know's L.M. Montgomery Challenge. I treat myself to one Anne book a year. :) I hope you enjoy your reread!

I love that you had to wait for snow to read The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe! I am the same way with certain books, including that one. Happy New Year!

Some books just need the right atmosphere. :)

I love that one, too! College life and a happy ending for Anne and Gilbert. Does it get any better?

It sounds like you've been indulging in some favourites for the start of the new year... I took the same route. I started the new year with Lone Wolf by Jodi Picoult; whilst the book itself was new to me, Jodi Picoult is one of my favourite authors.

I've never read The Chronicles of Narnia series, something I hope to rectify in the future.

Winter in general seems like a good time for rereading favorite and revisiting favorite authors. You definitely need to read Narnia, Jade! They are wonderful books!

My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
