Smiling Shelves

My New Little Bookworm!

Things have been pretty quiet here on Smiling Shelves recently. That's because we had a new arrival at our house last month!

Life has been pretty unpredictable (hence the lack of posts here), but it's starting to settle down into a routine-like thing. Smiling Shelves will soon be up and running again, though I don't think my previous 4 posts a week will be possible. But I'm still reading (and reading to my little guy), so I'm sure there will be plenty to post about. Thanks for sticking with me on Smiling Shelves as I discover this whole new reason to smile!

Thanks, Kailana! He will certainly be a reader if I have anything to say about it. :)

Congrats!!! I must have totally missed this! What a sweet little thing you have there. Enjoy him like he is, don't wish this away. It does not last forever and you can't get it back. {{Hugs}}

Congratulations! He's adorable. I have a very similar photo of me reading a book to Christopher when he's about that age. Enjoy him!

Thanks, Kate! He doesn't seem to have much of an attention span for books yet, but I read them anyway! :)

    My name is Julie, and I own a lot of books. As in, they are stacked on the floor because I've run out of room on the shelves. And those shelves? There are so many books on them that they smile -- not sag; smile. This blog will cover book reviews and all manner of other bookish things.
