- The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
- Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
- To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
- A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson
- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
- Wild by Cheryl Strayed
- Life of Pi by Yann Martel
This weekly frenzy of listing is hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. I honestly don't watch a lot of movies. So this list could probably be really long. I'm going to limit it to movies that I'd actually like to see someday and/or books I've read (because that is required before seeing the movie). Read the Book, Haven't Seen the Movie (Yet)
Haven't Read the Book or Seen the Movie, but Plan to Do Both

The Book Thief and Wild are on the top of my list of books that I want to read still before i see the movie. great TTT post this week! (also, can't believe you haven't read/seen TFIOS but i hope you like it when you do! as far as film adaptations go, this one was very well done)

I loved The Book Thief as a book. I'm a little worried that I won't like it as well as a movie, so I've been putting off watching that one. The Fault in Our Stars is one I've been meaning to read for a long time. Just haven't made it there yet! :)

I read Life of Pi and liked it, but I haven't seen the movie. I'm not sure if I will. It's just not calling to me.

I've been meaning to read the book for a long time. We'll see how well I like it. That will probably determine if I see the movie or not. :)

I haven't read the book, so I can't comment on how faithful an adaptation it is, but I do love the movie Memoirs of a Geisha! It's really great :)

This was a surprisingly hard topic to narrow down, wasn't it? :)

The movie's better than the book? High praise! I've been a little afraid to see TKaM because I want to keep my image of Atticus in my mind. But I know the movie is practically as classic as the book is, so I'm sure I'll watch it someday!

I can see how that could be true for The Fault in Our Stars. I'm not sure I could convince myself to see the movie without reading the book first, though! :)

I've heard a lot of people say the movie adaptation is a really good one. I'll definitely have to watch it sometime! :)

I quite enjoyed the film Memoirs of a Geisha, although I did watch it before reading the book. I read the book after though and enjoy it too. Lengthy though, film and book!

It was a bit of a chunky book, wasn't it? I didn't realize the movie was on the longer side, but I guess that makes sense!
